I’m pretty confused In my log it spiked my ign 1 super high once I got off throttle can someone explain, i feel this isn’t good? My corrections on 2-6 look good. They used to be worse. I just reset the battery and took this log after driving for a bit. Any suggestions?

Timing spike are normal, they happen in all cars. There's no boost or compression when the throttle is closed, nothing to worry about.

This log looks fine to me. No issues with MAP 1. Are you limited to 93 octane? By the way give the ECU a day or so to adapt after a reset.

Check out these Datazap excerpts
- Blue across top is pedal/throttle (100% dropping to 0% near the end)
- Green is speed
- Light grey mountains are RPM (shifts should be apparent)
- Purple is ign1. Note the increase with RPM, hard drops at each shift, and spikes to 30-40+ degrees when the throttle closes

Yes, I am limited to 91 unfortunately I was having issues before so glad to see it’s all good! I put some e in so I can do map 3 that’ll be the next log. Can finally rip map 1 atleast.

Thanks really appreciate it! Question, not to sure if you’ll know but I put e85 in and my fuel gauge doesn’t really keep up with it? It looses gas then “refills” itself I’ve burned more fuel than what my gauge shows is that normal? First time running e30 in this car.

Kind of normal yes. E-85 has less BTU's so it takes about 30% more fuel to get the same AFR. BUT.... It has much higher octane so it's worth it. The reality is that 30% is for full E-85, you're probably running around E-30 so it's going to be much less.

Interesting. It’s trippin me out. I half 3/4 tank and now I got a full tank.

Are you talking about your fuel gauge not reading full? Or just the remaining mileage estimate bouncing around? The latter will happen as the car re-learns. When I'm running E30 around town, a full tank shows 320-330 miles remaining (averaging say 20-22mpg), but on the highway without ethanol the range will increase to say 370-380 even as I burn gas, because it's seeing me get 27-28mpg and adjusting.

30% of your tank having 30% less energy/mileage should multiply to about a 10% overall loss of mileage on E30 vs. premium. And that seems about right in real world driving, call it a couple mpg.

Could you check this one to?
This is a clean log to learn on, since you have a single WOT through three gears (start with RPM, Gear, and MPH columns to get your bearings). Target boost, fuel pressure (fp_h), and AFR as as expected. Ign1 (overall timing advance) increases with rpm with no corrections (generally 3+ degree drops), and ign2-6 (timing drop relative to cyl1) are all zeroes.

For the last part, it's normal to see 0.8, 1.5, maybe some 2.3s, what you don't want is a bunch of 5.4s etc. All zeroes means you likely have octane to spare, and may support a higher map.
