M3 CSL style - Yellow headlight DRLs?

This mod to change out the white DRL‘s to lemon yellow is a plug-in play on the late model BMWs.

Does anyone know if our DRL modules are easily removable like they are with BMWs?

Believe this was discussed before and I think the consensus was that in order to do it you need to crack open the entire sealed headlamp assembly and supposedly it's not exactly easy to do.

Kia calls that a ballast - and underneath is a big hole.
