I brought my stinger in for a rattle in the roof near the sunroof between 18 months - 2 years ago. They said they could hear the rattle and the trunk was also rattling, which i hadnt noticed at the time but has gotten worse and i definitely notice it now. They wanted to fix the trunk rattle first as that is a known issue, and to see if the other rattle near the sunroof would be fixed also. Since then the part for the trunk has still not shown up to fix my stinger. I bring it up every time it is in for service and they just say the part is on order. It has been so long now that its almost comical. I dont think theyve ordered any part and are just hoping i drop the issue which isnt going to happen. If they are actually telling the truth, a warranty part taking this long to show is just despicable and frankly pathetic.

That is not good at all. I’d be looking for another Kia dealer.

I had that hatch rattle on my 2022. I ordered the kit and installed it myself. I also adjusted the bump stops. No more rattle. It took me about 20 minutes to do the whole thing. Really really easy.

I have the stupid maintenance package there so I'm screwed. New development from the dealer, "if it's been that long they would have received it and sent it back by now."

What a joke

It gets better. Because I try not be a complete prick most of the time I have asked them about the status of the part every time I've had it in there for anything and they have given me the "it's on order" run-around and today the manager tells me there was never any record of any order. So, I guess from now on it's all communication via written means.

Kia dealers (like almost all dealers) are trash. the trunk rattle is super easy to fix by yourself. I followed the video in this thread and for under $5 dollars and 10 minutes of my time I had it fixed. Way less time/hassle than trying to take it to the shop.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Right, I can fix it myself, but I shouldn't have to. At this point I just want people to be aware that this dealership pulls crap like this.

Minnesota?

If so, That place was the most expensive when I was in the market to buy my Stinger new back in 2020, glad I went somewhere else. I would just fix it myself, as I did with my car, it's a $5 fix. You'll waste more time scheduling an appointment, dropping the car off.

Do you have the Kit Part#?

No. I threw out the packaging after the install.
