I'll tell you this though, this TCU is much more than torque limit off at the start. I mean that is real fun trying to find the optimal rpm and boost to launch from, but the biggest difference for me was in the daily driving characteristics of the car. It feels as if the car finally wakes up from feeling tired
Only reason for the sale is that I've just bought an expensive guitar, so I want to recover at least some portion of the spending.
very reasonable purchase. id say pop that tcu back into the car. strap up your guitar in the passenger seat. drive up to a big mountain with a view of the city and start jamming out.
So what is the -8 shift point? Minus 800 rpm? Or minus 8% of total rpm? If the latter, that means it’s shifting at right around 5900-6000 rpm, before peak boost starts tapering?

It’s minus % of total rpm..I have the pressure 2 -5%. It shifts from 1st to 2nd around 5750 rpm and the rest of the gears just before 6000rpm.
With the Lap3 ecu I have it’s slower letting it shift on its own anyway, better to shift around 5200-5500 rpm. If you’re not running an ecu tune that probably won’t apply to you.
Here’s my most recent 0-60 with my currents mods and 3 gallons of e85 mixed with mostly full tank of 93. I shifted early on this run.
