Looks like KIA changed their mind and are offering the Loyalty bonus on leases now:

• Owner Loyalty Offer available to current Kia owners who purchase or lease a new 2018 Stinger vehicle between 9/5/2018 - 10/31/2018. A customer can only qualify for Owner Loyalty Incentive claims for two purchases (2 VINs) per calendar year and the vehicle utilized as the qualifying vehicle may not be the same vehicle in both instances. Offer may be combined with Low APR, Lease, or Cash offers. To be eligible, new Kia vehicle purchaser must show proof of qualifying Kia vehicle ownership (current registration) to Kia dealer where new Kia vehicle is being purchased. Void where prohibited by law. This incentive is for a limited time offer on eligible Kia vehicles and must be applied as down payment. No cash value. Not all incentive programs are compatible. So you get dealer discount (@10%+ off MSRP), lease cash ($8700 on GT2) and loyalty bonus ($3k) Sounds like a great deal for KIA customers!

Hmmm - the dealers I’ve reached out to say the $3K isn’t available on lease and it is only $7700 (GT2 AWD).

Where are you located? I know the information in my area and others lists $8700 for a GT2 AWD ($7700 lease cash+ $1000 AWD cash) and then the loyalty cash is (was) available as of last week. A buddy of mine piked up one for $40,200 after taxes fees and rebates.

OMG! This things changes almost daily! The site is updated again to say it cannot be combined with lease cash! The info has been removed from the pricing calculator as well! Wow! In these cases, I think you will need to work the price to about 10% off sticker, then apply the lease cash.

I'll add that you should watch the site like a hawk and be ready to pounce if this should happen again. Those who jumped in got a good deal, sorry that we all can't get that, I wasn't able to but am satisfied with my deal.

That's a great price man! Get it! With my buddy's deal, the car was $50K, mine was $48K but he ended up at $40,2K out the door and I got $41,7K.

Congrats! With or without the lease cash, I think more dealers are willing to deal more as they need to get rid of the 2018 inventory to make room for the 2019s.

Congrats, Callum! So did I read right that you leased? I'm trying to calc. this out to see if I can make sense of it...you got a GT2 AWD, right? Does this look right? The only thing I couldn't account for in your numbers was the tax which is ~$1250 on the lease...sorry for all the questions, this is just getting closer to being a possibility for me if I'm understanding it correctly.

That is correct. Now, the dealer is pumping $2K over what my current Optima is worth, which is a 2016 Optima SXL w/ 35K on the ODO, which carries equity on the car which I did not expect. I am putting a little down, just to kill the total payments (sub $450). I'm not sure how they are structuring it...but I'm going to keep my mouth shut.
