I've noticed a very quiet vibrating/rotating sound under very specific conditions, which I'm hoping you guys can help diagnose. It's very subtle, like if you trill your tongue against the roof of your mouth voicelessly. Sounds like it's from the engine bay or driver's side wheel well, but that may just be because I'm closer to that side.

It happens when slowing down, off throttle, usually 10-20 mph, in gear 3/4/5 as revs drop from say 1500-1000 rpm. Maybe as high as 25mph but it's so quiet that road/wind/traffic noise make it impossible to hear.

It cuts out when revs drop to around 1000rpm, but that may just be because it's downshifting. And if I touch the throttle, even just a hair so revs don't even respond, it cuts immediately, making me wonder whether it's linked to the throttle itself, or just any pedal signal. I'm usually on the brake when it happens but unclear if that's necessary.

Here are two videos. Might need headphones, but you should be able to hear the sound stop in the last second of each as I dropped to 1000rpm:

sounds like the exhaust to me. mine does that under those conditions but more audibly since I have the MBRP cat-back.

That's interesting, I didn't think of exhaust tick (I'm stock). I was thinking something on the intake side (I have intakes/snorkels so easier to hear induction sounds), since the slightest touch of the pedal makes it stop, but I'll see if I can investigate further.

that is a strange noise... the kind ticky sound of something in bicycle spokes sound? i've never heard that on mine... hmm.
