LOVING my car, but....1st world problems

Hi all, I've looked through the forums but haven't found answers for what I'm looking for.

Wipers - is there a way to set the speed to a speed that I want, without them speeding up or slowing down. I would have though "Auto" and adjusting the speed would set it at a constant I want, but nooo..they start zooming along!
Also, is there a way to actually move the wipers off the front screen in order to wash the windscreen. They get stuck behind the edge of the bonnet. I'd read the manual but it's like War & Peace!

Sound - every now and then I find I have absolutely no sound. The only way to get the sound back is settings - Quantum Logic - Turn off surround sound. It does come back after you turn the car off for a bit but that's somewhat annoying!

And finally - god I wish I could REALLY use the power this beast has.

Wipers - I havent messed with the speeds much as Auto is always fine for me, maybe someone can help with that. But for washing the windshield. When the vehicle is turned on just on Accessories (engine not running) hold the wiper selector up for 3 seconds and it will bring the wipers up and stop and then you can pull them up off the windows.

Sound - There is a service bulletin on a similar issue but with the fader going to back, but I've also had it where the rear has no sound and the fader moves to the back causing no sound. Other times the back speakers work. But it's fixed with a head unit replacement. I have my stinger scheduled for them to "diagnose" this, even though its a clearly documented issue but well see how all that goes. Some have been lucky and they just tell the dealer the problem and they know and just schedule an appointment for when the head unit arrives at the dealer.

If you have the rain-sensing wiper system, then the "speed setting" adjustment for Auto mode actually just controls the sensitivity to amount of rain, i.e. if you like them to operate when very little rain is on the windshield, you move it towards the highest position, but if you are ok with more rain accumulating before they operate, you move it towards the lower position. The speed is actually not manually adjustable, they will operate on how heavily it is raining.

The wipers have a "service" position, as shown in the manual:

I always seem to forget the wiper service position when washing the car and I always have to look it up

Thanks for the responses guys.
The wiper system is one of the few poor things on the car. An absolutely ridiculous, poorly thought out system.
Take her to a car wash and have to give instructions on how to either move the blade or insist they don't try to lift them.
After you've washed a screen the last thing you want to do is wipe the screen.

As for the radio, just took her in for her 10K service and a software update to the radio "seems" to have resolved the issue. Probably put the kybosh on it now. Oh, plus I can now since the track number in a playlist which is a plus
