Hi all, looking for some input. I got the wife's blessing to buy new wheels but I have some questions.
I have a 2019 GT2 AWD that came with 18s. I will be keeping the 18" OEM for a winter setup. I will be purchasing Marquee wheels.
Here are my concerns:
  1. If I stay with the 18" for the new wheels then I can just swap over my current tires, however I kind of wanted to go to 19" or 20" ... anything I need to be concerned about doing that?
  2. Any recommendations for a good, trust worthy tire/wheel shop near Joliet? I saw one by the name of Symbolic Kustomz that could be promising.
  3. If I do need to order my setup online, any recommendations? (This kind of scares me with a high dollar purchase)
  4. Staying with a squared setup, how wide can I safely go. I don't understand the whole "Offset" thing very well.
I appreciate any help offered

I went through a similar exercise recently. There are plenty of good aftermarket options and the thread that was posted above can help you choose the correct size.

Ultimately, I wanted to find a set of wheels and tires that exactly matched the stock 19” staggered setup. After many months of searching I realized it doesn’t really exist in the aftermarket world. You really need to go up to 8.5” wide wheels to find reasonable options. That is fine to do but I really just wanted to stay with the stock size.

In the end I only found one option that truly matched the stock 19” Stinger specifications. That was the stock 19” Genesis G70 staggered setup. However, that also means you keep the ultra heavy wheels. That was a trade off I was willing to accept.

There are plenty of other great options but I really am happy with the Genesis G70 wheels on my Stinger. I really like how it allowed me to get the nice “E” logo center caps for the wheels instead of resorting to the less attractive stickers.

It was about $1,900 for the set of “like new” wheels, tires, and TPMS sensors with shipping across the entire country.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Those will look great with a white car. Definitely post pictures when you get them installed.
I will, hoping to have them by next weekend
