So I got my wheels powder coated satin black last week. I had them put on and I love the look so far. My winter wheels are gloss black and I like the more subdued look of the satin black. My thoughts though are on the looks of the center cap for the lug nuts. They no longer match the color of the wheel. How do you guys think they look? I was thinking of maybe plasti-dip a satin black or even doing something crazy like getting a matching blue or even red to match the Brembo's. I could also get the small metal inserts that don't cover up the lug nuts.

So what are the thoughts?20200126_130004.webp 20200126_125957.webp

I don't care for that color, but the caps need to match the wheel. Then it'll look a lot better.

Wheels look amazing.
I would paint the wheel cap in the same color.
How much did it cost to powder coat them?

$150 USD per wheel. It included the powder coating, any curb rash repair, acid wash to remove the OE coating, and remounting of the tires and balancing. Also has a nice warranty for any deformities in the coating.

great price !! , yes I would dip the centre cap , you can unscrew the cap portion to make it easier ! Looks great !

I don't think that leaving it looks "wrong". But I paid $25 per cap to get mine painted to match the gloss black powder coat.
I agree, looks good but I would plasti-dip the cap.
Welcome "Mr Body". Your public appearance is delayed.

reviving! lol. just had my rims refurbished (all four were pretty badly curbed by the previous owner) and turned out two rims were bent lol. was going to go gloss black but last minute decided to go gunmetal/lighter silver and i love it.

I love the color of your car. Interesting on matching everything. I have a white GT1 with black interior. I have kept everything either one of those two colors with mods. Another question to ask is, does anyone have mixed logos for the Stinger -- like the E for excellence in engineer and the K that looks like a Lexus? I have done extensive interior mods, and moderate ones on the outside. All of it is aesthetic, though.

Let me add one thing: I think the Stinger looks best murdered out. It would be tough since I live in Texas, though. So, hot here.
