Has anyone found a tire for the Stinger that wears well. I have aa 2018 GT AWD In Canada As you all know, these cars eat tires. I have no need for a sport tire. My wife drives the car very mildly.
I am looking for my 3rd set. The stock were Pilot sports . Now i have Continental sport plus. I use winter rims and tires. so I would love to find a summer tire that will last as long as possible.

Compare treadlife warranty periods and go with the longest one. I know that Nitto Motivo A/S UHP are 60,000 miles. If you run square you should get a lot of miles out of a set.

I've been running the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06+ for what seems like forever and still a decent amount of tread left after almost 20,000 miles. They're semi sporty tires, probably falling between Pilot Sport 4s and the OE tires (Primacy here in the States).

The car really isn't intended to have a set of tires on it indefinitely because the staggered setup basically ensures something is going to force a new set before one might expect. I'm pleased to have something wearing this well but still have enough grip for tossing it around and hard acceleration.

Tirerack has a way of pulling up a list of tires for the car and their customer review/ratings, while imperfect, are at least a ballpark on what one might expect.

Yeah if the wife isn't driving spirited, there's no real need for staggered which opens up many other tire options that can be rotated which prolongs tread life a lot.

I don't know how the OE primacy on the 3.3's is, but the bridgestone (re97as-02) on the gtline is complete garbage. I knew they'd have to go before I even got the car home. Very confidence uninspiring. The as4's in my sig now have ~13K miles on them. Wearing well. I expect at least 25-30K. They're rated for 45K, so we'll see if I can get some $$ back when the time comes. Maybe not as there's a time limit on the warranty too I believe - 6 yr 45K mi.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
It would be nice to keep a thread like this updated with real life experience's with dif tires, as you guys have done.
I just ordered 1 rear Continental ExtremeContact DWS06+. I will have to replace the fronts next year for sure.
Thanks for the info guys.
