A couple runs today after the bms intake install and map2 on 91. If found on either the 2/3 or 3/4 shift that either the throttle cut, traction was lost, or timing pulled. I can’t tell. On the jb4 0-60 app it was my fastest time but did happen on another run please advise if you see anything?

Don't see anything in the log. psi never deviates from psi2.

Your throttle cut is likely a result of the nanny systems that still persist, even when using launch mode with TCS and Stability Control deactivated. Try a brake snip launch with both systems deactivated. If you aren’t familiar with what it is there is a thread all about it if you search the phrase. Here is a quick run down.

1. Turn TCS and Stability Control off.

2. Stop car in drive.

3. Pull up on parking brake and hold it there, do not let go.

4. Remove foot from brakes.

5. Press the accelerator until you get to the desired RPM/Boost that you want to launch at.

5. Let go of parking brake with your hand.

6. Be careful, car will launch harder then it ever has, way harder than launch control. Also you will not get throttle cut in between shifts with this method. If you have a rear wheel drive, practice a couple times at a lower rpm/boost. If you have AWD you are G2G. Also you may have to redo steps 1-5. Sometimes the car creeps forward if the parking brake doesn’t engage hard enough.

The brake snip method makes these cars so much quicker. It’s almost as if engineers left it there as an Easter Egg so that we could experience the true potential of these cars.

Thanks terry...maybe over analyzing what’s going on. Knocked off .7 on my 0-60 so she’s running really well. Intakes are a lot of fun too.

your Trims are in the high 40's are you running E85?

where you below 1/4 tank by chance?

are you trolling? The throttle closes.

So? Learn to read logs lol. ;) PSI2 is manifold boost. If it matches pre-manifold boost there is no "throttle closure". Remember the throttle is largely over sized for the platform. Depending on the engine speed takes 30-40% closure before it even does what it's supposed to do which is help regulate boost to target. 20% on a turbine speed change is nothing.

I'm guess we're going to agree to disagree here because every person that I've ever got to stop having throttle close goes faster in a draggy..

Plus even a 20% throttle close i get sent a log and they said it was slow and the shift felt bad. But we always get them fixed up by reducing the trims and they are fast and happy.

I am officially out of my element. Tuning is not an option for my vehicle...jb4 is the limit. Can you advise if there’s any power in map2 based on my ignition timing if I added octane but stayed map2?

Only one way to find out, up the octane and see if it gets quicker! ;)

Id try some octane booster and your timing may tighten up a bit. The throttle close is pretty rare on map2 with no added ethanol. If you have pure gas near by may try that as your 91 is probably E10. Long term trims may adjust and this may go away. But the throttle close 1-2 hits 7.4 ECU PSI vs the 2-3 no close is at 10 ECU PSI

Oh there will be more data to follow. Boostane is going in!!

not sure on the shell 91. First tank of the year..will try again with fresh tank
