Log Check, Lean code E40

Hello,

Did a run yesterday Map2, see log attached. I switched to Map3 and tried another run and got the lean code/engine light. I guess I have to drop my E content for now until I get a better tune? I can provide the Map 3 log is anyone wants to see it, very short log before I got the lean code. See sig for mods.

You running e30 ? if so you might check for vacuum leak your fuel trim shouldn't be that high running at that boost level.

Thanks, E40 at the moment, I just installed the intercooler last week and removed the intakes to install the EWG wires. I will check over it all.

Your trims are bottomed out, indicative of the E40 you said you're running. You definitely need to reduce it to E-30 or lower. You will still be able to run Map3 with E25-E30 no problem.

Thanks for the info, I am waiting on a BEF from Terry. Do you recommend I wait for the BEF and keep the E40? Should have it over the next couple of days.

No, don't run E-40! Once you get the BEF, you will be able to run up to E50, but without it, E25-E30 is max.

If he's running sxth why would anyone run a jb4 on maps i thought when running the combo you run map zero and the sxth tune

BEF is not a full tune and it's working with JB4

You need our BEF for more than around E40. And you'll make a ton more power with it also from the extra timing advance!
