Thought I would post up a log for others to check and comment on. It's been a while.

I had my first issue with the car since purchasing it. Merging on to the highway, dropped to third gear and hit it pretty hard. Everything seemed normal at first and then bam, fell on it's face. No boost!. I assume I must have over-boosted and the car went into limp mode. drove a few miles, exited the highway, turned off, then back on after about 30 seconds, boost is back. No issues in the last 4 days. Weird. I have stock cat down-pipe, etc. Mods are in my signature.

Had time to pull a log today and everything looks normal, although I really only usually concern myself with timing, meth flow, IAT's, pedal position, throttle, etc. Map 7, 93 octane, and Meth.

Thoughts? anything else look off.

Maybe just a fluke incident. One thing I did do during that merge, is just drop off the throttle for a split second, so maybe I did something kind of weird to cause an over-boost issue, just as boost was building. Also, the pavement was a bit choppy, so initially I thought traction control had cut the power. Maybe it did for a second and the lack of traction or load on the engine caused it to spin up the turbos really quick?? just thinking out loud.

Appreciate any comments.

Everything in your log seems about as clean as one could hope for. Strange. maybe you triggered the traction control safety when you put the pedal down.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Did you ever figure anything out? Did it recurr?

Not sure where I left off, but no not really. I think sometime shortly before/and after after that I had a Evap system leak and basically traced it to the hose leaving the intake manifold and going into the BMS catch can. Fiddled with that for a while with limited success, and eventually replaced the hose and the clamp and knock wood it's been solid since. I don't know that the two were even related, as at the time it went into limp mode there was no code thrown.

I basically have to chalk this up to the strange circumstances. Hard pull for just 2 seconds, choppy pavement, causing me to lose traction just briefly, all while letting off the throttle quickly. Maybe that just spun it up real good. JB4 app wasn't on at the time so we'll never know if there was a boost spike.
