When viewed vs the targeted competition, we need a darker color palette. The penultimate darkest color (if this is the final US availability) is a light gray.
Well, fellow lobbyists, we can take the picture below with a large grain of salt, but maybe there is movement...... or maybe there is just more confusion. This is taken from a Facebook post earlier today in the Stinger GT Owners group:
It would be great if it is so. However, that just looks like one of the Korea Spec demo cars. They shipped that color to many (most?) of their dealers and then smartly decided that it should be 1 of 2 colors that they simply would not bother to offer on any trim.
It's Deep Chroma Blue and looks even better in person.

Available in Oz picking mine up Thursday, quite a wait though ordered Red leather but was getting delayed so they said they could procure a dealer stocked car in Black leather.
I say America stamp your feet and tell the big K what you want. Guess we just got lucky.

The color pallet for the us stinks. My top choices are the chroma blue, panthera metal and thunder grey. That leaves only micro blue as a serious interest with yellow Maybe. The price best come in line or 4th choice colors will not cut it.
I agree 100%! I would also like to add that the fact one has only one choice of interior color for most of the exterior colors in a car that costs up to $53k is inexcusable as well.
We have the Deep Chroma Blue with the red interior in one of the dealerships and it looks great! That and the Panthera Metal along with the Ceremac Silver are my choices but while I have never purchased a Red car, the High Chroma Red looks awesome as well. The red with a brown interior would look fantastic, I think the red or brown could work in most of the other colors. KIA should offer interior colors like mocha and baseball glove (I remember Audi had that for the TT or one of their sporty cars), to make the Stinger more distinctive. On the exterior, the colors should all pop, no matter if it’s the 2.0T or the GT, all Stingers should stand apart from the rest of the KIA line. A sportier seat should be an option. Guess that may come in the future.
This is my Optima Hybrid in Gravity Blue, it’s one of the reason the Deep Chroma Blue appeals to me. Depending on the light, it can look black. TheDeep Chroma has a purplish tint to it as well so it will have different looks based on the light.
I really wish they had all the colors available on base. The GT was a bit too much for me and I was happy with the base. My first choice would have been blue but luckily my second would have been silver anyway which is what I ended up with.
