Hello everyone,

I have found a new 2020 Stinger GT2 being sold in Arizona for a significantly lower dealer discounted price than any dealerships in my hometown of Las Vegas. This particular dealership is also advertising a $8500 lease cash on a 24 month lease, but I have not been able to find this deal on Kia's website or being advertised on my local dealerships' websites.

1.) Why can't I find this $8500 lease cash offer on Kia's website or advertised by any dealers in my area?

2.) Will I be able to take advantage of this $8500 incentive if I live in a different state than that of the dealership that is offering it?

3.) Are there any other issues or things you wish you would have known before attempting to lease then buyout a stinger from out of state?

Thanks!

GT2 RWD $8,500
GT2 AWD $8,900
I’ve did not lease buyout out of state. But I’ve heard it will just take a little longer

$8500 is the current 24 month lease cash on RWD GT2's in most zip codes... perhaps just not in the zip codes of your dealers? If you're on the Kia website, make sure you change the lease term to 24mo as it defaults to 36. You can also check current incentives by zip code at this website.

I couldn't find anyone who has done a lease buyout in NV by searching. The only thing I'd try to figure out is whether your state taxes "double" on lease buyouts (as Texas does). Some states consider the buyout a separate transaction and apply sales tax a 2nd time.

Otherwise, the buyout is handled directly through Kia Motors Finance, so there should be no issues there.

I would also make sure the out the door price is indeed lower at the dealership you're looking at. Email or call the dealership and get a written quote that includes your Net Cap Cost. That's basically the total cost of the vehicle after incentives, fees, and taxes. You'll want to make sure that compares favorably to your local dealers, and that they're not advertising a low "dealer price" only to add profit back in with dealer-added fees, warranties, and accessories.

Thank you both for your responses! I have attached some screenshots of a lease payment calculator and some explanations of some of the fees.
I feel like the dealer discount is pretty good, but then they add $1496 worth of BS add-ons and charge $598 worth of doc fees. It seems like I can negotiate some of the dealer add-on prices, but I am not sure how much.
Do you think this is a pretty good deal?

this looks like a generalize offer, i would contact the dealer for an official offer price.
official offer price would include all taxes, tags, and fees, then final balance

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
