What do people do with the old parts after doing upgrades (sway bars, exhaust, intakes, etc.)? Keep or throw away?

Add intercooler to that list.

ship to me

keep it keep it!! dont ask me, i havent mod'd mine, seems like you'd want to keep them though in case you need them for unforseen reasons.

Sell on forums, craigslist, ebay, etc. Sell on all at the same time. First buyer gets dibs.

Need a driver side muffler from a g37s sedan? I also have a front sway bar from the same car.

Used to have the original drive shaft from my 4th gen camaro, but that either sold or was taken by the trash collector guy that goes through our alleys looking for recyclables.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I keep them, you can revert the car to stock if you want to sell it & then sell the aftermarket parts separately, you can make some reasonable cash back on the parts as someone else is always looking to mod.

Keep most of them to go back on the car when its eventually time to get rid of it.

This "sell" and "get rid of it" is out there beyond prediction (aka, I have no plans to lose this car): so, I left the OEM sway bars at the dealership and said they could do whatever they wanted with them. I haven't done other mods, but my philosophy would be the same: I don't keep stuff: most of the time I don't regret it.

Thanks for all the input. Selling old parts seems to be too much trouble for little return. The idea of returning the car to stock gives me a headache thinking of all the work involved. Perhaps I've answered my question.

No brain no pain.

I have sold a couple things I removed for aftermarket. Not big money, but helped unclutter my garage.
Someone needed stock strut braces because they were looking to customize them, I had BMS braces so I sold the old ones.
I also had a spare TCU left over when I got my Lozic, they wanted one to send in to Tork for a reprogram and didn't want their car out of commission during that time.
Just keep your eyes on the classified section, you can "watch" the forum and get notified anytime there is a new listing or wanted ad posted.

Thanks!
