Lamborghini Huracan Off - Roading

The biggest thing that doesn't compute for me about all of this is where do these people get their money?! This guy looks like he is all of 19 and has all of these crazy cars. I need to start selling drugs or something.

I toured the Lambo factory in Italy the summer before last, cool place. They had a tour of the factory floor and a brand new museum attached. They do everything by hand from painting to stitching the seats. Also went to Ferrari, couldn't tour the factory because I didn't own one but the Ferrari museum in Maranello is amazing. Also the Fiorano test track is right behind the museum and they were running cars on it the day I was there. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

One thing I kept thinking when touring the Lambo factory was that it would be maddening to build these incredible cars all day long knowing that you could never afford one...or at least I couldn't.

Exactly the reaction i thought i would get to these videos, Ok, looks like he can afford to treat a Huracan like that, and he has other cars as well maybe, but treating any sort of exotic luxury car to that, is just wrong and difficult to watch. Im sure a majority of true car enthusiasts would not treat a car like that, even if you have more millions than brains.
Really, a factory tour of Lamborghini, my dream also, were they building the current Aventador S.

Agree, building Lamborghini's everyday in the factory and being a true Lamborghini enthusiast, but knowing you could never afford to buy one yourself, would be heartbreaking, but i would be so proud to work there and see them everyday, and tell people in conversation, that you work at Automobili Lamborghini Spa.., i wonder if employess get any discount, like 5% only, who knows..haha

Yes, they had one line for the Aventador and one line for the Huracan. I don't remember which Aventador they were building exactly. I was there in June of 2016 and I don't think the S came out until later that year so it may have been the previous model (SV?) that they were building at the time.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I love all cars, no matter what the brand, but some of my all time favourite Lamborghini's is the 1989 Countach 25th Anniversary Edition and the Murcielago SV, also all Aventadors, especially the SV and S editions, the Gallardo LP-570 Supertrofeo Stradale, and the Huracan..haha

Probably some kid who inherited his wealth, unless he's a software genius of some kind. Doesn't matter. Those cars are, for most people who buy them, a status symbol. They set the benchmarks against which the rest of us measure our enjoyment of our cars. You don't appreciate what you have when you don't have to work for it. I'm guessing most of us are happier with our rides than he is, and as Kia buyers and owners, status is not a big deal (until Kia comes out of the closet.)

I Agree, with your above Quote, by the way, nice list of Pontiac vehicles you have owned over the years.

Thanks, I didn't list all of them - left off a '93 Pontiac GrandAm Quad-4 H.O.

And I see you're an Aussie. My last two, the G8 GT and the GTO were GM Holden built and two of the finest, most trouble-free, maintenance free and reliable cars I've owned. I'm keeping the GTO. G8 GT has 191,000 on it and will be sacrificed for the Stinger I have on order. The G8 is a perfect car - never had a wrench on it, only tires, battery, fluids and filters. No oil leaks, engine uses no oil between changes. Body as tight and quiet as new, no squeaks or rattles. The car wears tires perfectly and has never had an alignment. I'm really nervous about giving her up......but the Stinger beckons.....and they will have to pry the GTO keys out of my cold dead hands someday.

I guess my favourite Pontiac for many years now is, of course, the same model Trans Am from the Knight Rider TV Show, and the Trans Am in the movie Smokey and the Bandit.
Do you still see many on US roads, i would imagine being over 30yrs old, not as common anymore??

I've seen one or two of the older '80's models. Most are junkers now. My '96 is still sitting on a used car lot. I have no idea why unless the kids who would like to own it can't pay for it. It was in prime condition with 125,000 miles on it. Just had to have that G8 GT or I wouldn't have sold it....kind of like trading the G8 for the Stinger. Hope this swap turns out half as well.

I also see a few here and there. We don't have a big issue with rust in this part of the US so there are a lot of rust-free older cars running around. A lot of the remaining 70's cars have been snatched up by restorers and collectors so you don't see them very often. GM build quality wasn't all that great in the 1980s so, like mldavis said, most of the cars from that era are in junkyards.

I think I was 8 when the first Smokey and the Bandit movie came out and I saw it in the theater with my family. I wanted a Trans Am really bad! They were everywhere at the time. That movie sold a lot of cars for Pontiac.
