I have a question about Kia's 7 year warranty, i hear it includes capped price servicing, does that mean that as long as you bring your Stinger into your Kia dealership service dept everytime, the price is capped at a lower charge ? or knowing them capped at the normal charge for that service...haha.
So , as an owner, if you keep the Stinger for at least 7 years, you cannot service the car at a place like Ultratune, who fills out and stamps your service book, and if you do, that cancels the capped price services and may also voids the warranty as well ???

I spoke with my dealer about his on collection. You get the capped price servicing through the dealer and if you continue with that they offer an extra year of road side assist as well. However, there is no need to have the scheduled service done at Kia and it won't void the warranty so long as they complete the log book service as required.

Your dealer should be able to confirm the above.

Thanx , for that advice, i will confirm that when i pick up my Stinger, but i think i will let Kia service it for a while.

Plus, from my understanding. Its not really a 7 year fixed price servicing, its a 7 year or 70 km whichever occurs first. It covers the first 70,000 km servicing, with a set cost for each 10,000 km interval. The prices varied based on the service interval.
Here's a breakdown of the set cost for each service

10 K $252 20 k $436 30 k $368
40 k $670 50 k $284 60 k $617
70 k $785

Thanx for the breakdown, so for example, if the car is scheduled to be serviced in 6 months or at 10,000km, and the owner doesn't travel that 10,000km, he must service the car in 6 months time, even if the car has only traveled for example 6500km, is that correct ?? Also, what if the owner doesn't service the car at 6 months with only 6500kms, does that void the service agreement ??

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

The fixed price servicing agreement is either 'an interval is met or km's reached'. For the stinger these are set at 12 month intervals or 10,000 km intervals, whichever occurs first. For me I will likely drive more than 10,000 in 12 months, so will be servicing based on the km's travelled not time elapsed.

Regarding if you miss a service interval - the service agreement has the following clause:
'If any scheduled maintenance service is missed, when your vehicle is presented for its next scheduled maintenance service additional costs may apply, in addition to the capped price for that particular service.'

Thanx @Dave48 , i understand how it works now, much appreciated.
