Hey this is Daniel, and this is my first post on this site :)
I have a year twelve project due for physics, and I am aiming toc ompare the power outputs of the cars to the weight of the engine and transmission of a variety of EVs and petrol vehicles.
I have been looking around for a while now and cannot seem to find any informaiton on the complete weight split up.
I'm looking for the overall mass of the engine and transmission, and also the size and weight of the fuel tank.
Is there anywhere that has those sorts of detailed specifications? I'd really like to use this car because I am a bit of a car nut and am really interested in this car.
Thanks everyone :)

Welcome to the forum @Daniel , i have some information to offer you, not sure if it is exactly what your looking for, but here it is.
Kia Stinger GT 3.3ltr V6 Twin Turbo weight is 1780kg , it has a 60 litre fuel tank , power to weight ratio is 153kw per tonne.

I have the similar info on the Kia Stinger 2.0ltr Turbo, which of course is slightly different weights, if you would like that also , let me know. If i can find out any other info i will let you know, and also the Stinger is said to be an almost 50/50 weight distribution.

I read his question as asking what the weight of the engine/transmission is alone and not the total weight of the car. Same with the fuel tank.

I’ve not seen that info posted anywhere.

It is an interesting question, does engine weight equal somehow correlate to power. I’d think not given all the other variables such as typed of fuel injection, ECU tune, etc.

Also if you are using crank HP numbers (what all manufactures use in marketing material) then you shouldn’t include the weight of the transmission as the power numbers aren’t effected by the transmission.

I understood and read his question also , i just provided him with the only info that i know, in regards to weight or size of the fuel tank, i do not also know the answers to the questions he asked, like engine weight, thought i would give him at least some info, helpfull or not.

Thanks everyone, I'll look around a bit more, but because its still a new car there isn't a huge amount of detail on it sadly :(
unless someone wants to rip their engine out and weigh it for me :)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

You are able to get weights of engines, transmissions and fuel tanks for other cars? Please, tell where!
