Glad to see this, selling mass numbers to rental car fleets can really cheapen a car. I think we've all seen this first hand with the Mustangs and Chargers.

This news got me thinking since the PPV/PI versions get heavier duty parts and less-soft calibrations, what are the differences between the civilian Stinger and the police-version? Larger heat exchangers? Heavier duty suspension pieces? Stronger drivetrain parts?

On the Australian Kia Gt facebook group we do have a Policeman who told us the only Mods were electrical with the Police stinger. The model here is the "Si" which is the one below your Gt2 (No sunroof etc).

Coincidentally got tail gated and perused by a copper yesterday, I was expecting the flashing light but all he did was gork and speed off.

He may have meant "Hero" I've heard it before here, but I suspect you might be right it's probably a bastardization of Halo?
