I've had my 2022 Kia Stinger GT Line for a little over a year now. However, I've been facing some ongoing issues that have become quite frustrating. Approximately two months ago, my car started experiencing misfiring problems . Following my mechanic's advice, I replaced the coil, hoping it would resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the problems persisted.

I then proceeded to replace the spark plug, and to my surprise, I found it covered in engine oil. Strangely enough, there was no visible leak, so my mechanic suggested an oil change. However, a few days later, the oil light reappeared, and upon checking, I discovered that the oil level was completely depleted. On top of that, my car began misfiring and emitting excessive smoke. at this point i had already added oil 3 times!

After much anticipation, I finally managed to secure an appointment with Kia. It took them three weeks to diagnose the problem, revealing that the valve casket caps were leaking.( the tech told me he noticed this on the first day but Kia made them take apart the intercooler so they didnt start working on it till after they had it for 2 weeks) They resolved the issue, and I retrieved my car, hoping that would be the end of my troubles. Unfortunately, just one day later, my vehicle started emitting excessive amounts of smoke and a strong burning smell.

The dealership's process requires them to report everything to the Kia tech line and await their response, which unfortunately takes several days for each inquiry. Currently, I find myself without a working car while still making monthly payments, and it's an incredibly frustrating situation.

I'm reaching out to the community for advice and assistance. Is there anything I can do to address these persistent issues? Additionally, I'm disappointed that the dealership refuses to provide me with a loaner car due to my age (being under 25). Their offer of reimbursing me for a rental is limited to a mere five days at $40 per day.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions as to what to do

thank you

wow you slipped through the forum cracks. so this is like a 'bump'.

you have lemon laws. three strikes and they are out. they have one more chance to fix this. if you don't want to pursue this then warranty will cover it even to replacing the entire drivetrain. the time lost though. and others on here have been reimbursed for the payments while their car was comatose. bring that up, demand it even. good fortune in this disappointing episode of your life. I would be livid.

Im curious how many miles on the car?
