Got my new 2018 Stinger GT2 4wd for 44,000 out the door plus SC tax of $500.
May have possibly saved a bit elsewhere but I don't have much disposable travel time and wanted to give the locals some business .
Was tempted to wait for the new BMW 3 series comes out but really doubt I was going to get even close in terms of bang for the buck.
Any ideas as to what better new car with warranty I could have gotten that would have been better than my car for the under $45,000 category ( ncluding options )?
The wife makes fun of the KIA brand but she does not drive cars hard the way I do so she does not know.
I think the Stinger moves like an old school E39 (540i) iI used to drive with the sport package.
Way better than my 2013 F30 sedan (6 MT) AWD. Not as crisp as my 2009 E92 335i coupe (auto 2wd) but way quieter and more refined.
I still have my BMW car club of america membership but this KIA was too good a bang for the buck to stick with the Roundel this time around.
The Stinger GT2 is quiet ,refined , quick to go turn , to stop, with enough space for kids and stuff the back and loaded with cool stuff that I would have never wanted to pay for in the bimmer.
What do you all think?
