Hi everyone,
Just bought my Stinger GT and very happy with it.
I'm located in Sydney Australia. I bought a 2nd hand Bi-Modal exhaust system but the cutout valves didn't come with it.
I fitted the exhaust and locked the valves to be opened all the time but it's too noisy for my taste.
Also I find a delay in power on acceleration.
Next week I will try to half close the valves IMG_20200815_155050.webpand test to see if it's better.
Anyone knows if I can buy original kia cutout valves or something which fits without too many modifications ??
I called Kia Australia and they said it can only be bought with the complete By-modal exhaust system which is too expensive.
Any suggestions!?

Welcome James88.
Firstly I would be asking the seller where the actuators and associated wiring is as without those it won't work as designed. Kia do not carry spare parts for this system. You could try a call to the manufacturer, Lumen Australia, however in my experience they do not supply spares.
The delay in power on acceleration has nothing to do with the exhaust. It could simply be normal turbo lag but if it concerns you then its a trip to dealer for further investigation.
Tell us about your ride.

Welcome to the forum and congrats.

Welcome to the hive! If you have the complete exhaust, it probably easier to work out a trade / deal for the stock exhaust with someone local

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I recently hooked my vacuum directly to the actuator lines, basically omitting the switch and allowing the valves to open at start up......see how long it lasts.
