So he lists all of the Federations extra features and stuff and then says "You can get all of this for under $55k".

Is the federation edition going to be an official release from Kia? Did I miss that news somewhere? Is it on display at the Chicago Auto Show as a car that you will soon be able to buy? Because if so, I'm gonna have to start looking for someone to buy my blue one from me....

Aren't the guys in the video talking about the wheel paddle shifters? Sorry, I meant "paddle" not "pedal". They explicitly say that they are not plastic.

Cant remember from test drive and I don’t have my car yet. I seem to remember there was an issue with them squeaking and we found a fix. They looked like plastic covered metal.

Nice discussion here guys but I have a question about the video. ;-)
In the video they say (starting 4:35) that the pedal shifters are made out of real aluminium (not plastic!) and that they feel very nice. Is that true? I think I remember that some reviewers stated the opposite and complained that the pedal shifters feel cheap.

Aside from the paint job, it's all just kit parts from StingerHaus, and to be sold exclusively through participating dealers, which they're still lining up. You can contact them to see what's near you, or put in a recommendation.
