Kia Stinger Concept Car

If you're going to drag up 5-yr-old concept cars, you might as well go back to the original from 2011:

As a former SAAB owner and fan I remember when I first saw the Stinger GT4 concept car and it reminded me of the SAAB Aero X concept of the mid 2000's which was a shame they went belly up before they could bring that concept to reality (though some elements were used in the last 9-5). The production stinger takes after the GT concept, so I guess we might not see a car based off the GT4 either.

The GT is the concept vehicle for the Stinger (for which Kia just took the Stinger name from the 2-door concept).

A lot of people loved the Stinger concept, but it never did much for me.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Look at those slicer dicer wheels on the GT concept.

not a fan of the 2 door. loved the concept and agree that if saab were still in production, they should have made it.

If this concept ever do make it to production (THE GT4 CONCEPT - which we highly doubt), I honestly don't think it will sell that much. The current Stinger is barely making any dent in the automotive marketplace. I've only seen 2-3 in my area for the past month before getting one. Still relatively rare sighting.

The concept did make it into production. You are driving one.

I was referring to the GT4 concept. C'mon man wake up.

I like the basic body lines of the coupe concept, high wheel arches, long hood, the slope of the roof line, that fat rear end, yum. Not a fan of any of the smaller details like the lights, vents, or grills.

The very first "Stinger" concept was a two-door? When did it become a four-door gran Turismo? I think that the concept was a parallel project and the GT won out, thankfully; or I would still be driving and "restorodding" my '94 Voyager! :P
