Ok so while I was trying to do research on brake pad and better setup I was able to get in contact with someone at Brembo. I have a contact that would be part of their performance brake upgrade department. What they are needing is someone in MI that could leave their car with them for a half a day so they could get some good measurements. Now this group would be building a full setup that would include rotors, pads as well as calipers. This setup is not for the faint of heart and someone who thinks that this is an everyday brake system. This is a true race capable setup that could handle the abuse that a track day would put into a brake system. If you live near Plymouth, MI and are willing to be the person who leaves their car with them half a day please let me know and I can get you in touch with them about setting up a time.

I wished I live over there I would gladly let them borrow my car. I hope someone comes fourth so we can have this kit made for us.

Anything come of this? I reached out to them Nov. 15 and they said mid-2020.

While a cool idea, there’s like no market for these. No one road races the Stinger, everyone drag races it. The factory setup is pretty capable already it just needs a more aggressive pad (which is hard enough to get to market as it is). If you start getting competitive, you can probably just get the 6 pistons off the GT420 but even then I think the market will be super small.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I would really like a nice 2pc setup. I’ve been talking to Gyrodisc, seems like we should all contact them and they might release their brake setup to the general public rather then having to wait for a company to front the money for 10 units.

Brembo already has it (see the picture I posted), just need to figure out the exact caliper and rotor they’re using in the GT420.

I wonder how one would contact the builders?
