KIA Stinger Boot Lights

Hi all, just wanted some quick advice. Purchased an my20 Kia Stinger GT the other day and I noticed the 2 lights in the boot were not coming on when the tailgate was up. I tried it both during the day and night. Gone through the instruction manual, and I can't find anythimng on it other that I think they should come on automatically. Any advice appreciated. Kim

My right side boot light wasn't working when we got it home, I just waited until it's complimentary service and they fixed it for me.

Yes, both should come on automatically....back to the dealer!

There was a whole set of plugs in the boot not connected on mine. Easy enough for them to fix.

Was this after they had fitted your bimodal exhaust?

Big chance the dealer didn’t plug them back in then, pretty poor form.

Typical.That was the trouble with mine and some screws were missing.
They also didn’t switch on my power box on my black vue dash cam and we couldn’t understand why it wasn’t working properly as we’ve never had one before.
