Well, it appears there's going to be a Kia Stinger Black Edition. I don't have any details so perhaps we can use this discussion to speculate. Will it be a higher performance Stinger the way Lexus does with F-Sport and Cadillac does with V-Sport? Or will it be cosmetic only?

They said in a lot of interviews that maybe a one off may be made of a v8, but not anytime soon. The changes will definelty be cosmetic. Can't wait!

Only word of mouth from somebody in the industry. Nothing is set in stone. I should have clarified that.

My guess is as good as yours then. Being a turbocharged engine, bumping the power with ecu changes is low hanging fruit, and a stiffer suspension would also be likely. Body trim to match would be a given.

Yep, I agree with hej. Albert Bierman has said he reckons the v6 unit is perfect for this car. Considering that, and what we all know can be safely done with ECU boost and perhaps a few hardware (internals) upgrades - this will be capable of enormous outputs. From there, the car can be given more dynamic focus to address the requirements of a specific customer. The anticipation is killing me !!!!

There's definitely going to be a 400+ horsepower Kia in the next few years. It may come in the new K900 or replacement -- or a higher performing Stinger.

Personally I think the blackout cosmetic offerings from other car makers are getting a little overdone. If KIA was to do something different by making a limited edition that would be something. But really - black wheels and mirrors? C'mon
