Kia Stinger being thrown around a race track

What's that beeping sound and flashing light on the dash?
It looks like he has traction control turned off.

EDIT: Ahhh... it's the speed limiter alert at 120 km/h.

Nice! Are you based out of Qatar?

Was that the RWD you were driving? Looked like it felt a bit squirrely when taking those corners so quickly...

Got into the "marbles" a bit there. Stay safe! :P If I keep watching these videos of other people having fun with their Stingers, the temptation will become too great.

How'd you feel about the brakes? Dis they hold up?
I did 5x20 min sessions of a tight track and I got wheel vibration during braking by the second session. I think some pad material got left on the rotors. Annoying as hell due to all the pulsing but it's gone away.

You burned through it! Yeah! (I have no idea. But I like any story that ends well.)

Guys I'm pretty sure the OP isn't the one driving in the video.

I'm positive, wasnt trying to give that perception. Just a You tube vid I found entertaining.
Dude thought the rumble strips was the preferred line. Drove it like he stole it.

Gotta be RWD - would love to see some AWD action like that!

This guys turn ins/apex’s are way too early, leaving him with super wide exits out of each corner. That was actually difficult to watch.

Cool how the track seemed to show up on the GPS tho.

Maybe the lines weren't perfect, but I'm damn impressed how stable it was during the slides. Looks like a lot of fun :)

Looking at the tire pressure, they were at 33/34 with the warning light on. Would have expected them to be at factory specs for the run.

Didn't even notice that! WTH!? That would be heated up to 33/34 too. Those tires were low, unless his TPMS readings are off. Mine are by c. 2-3 psi, low.

Lower pressure gives the tires a bigger contact patch.

In my 4runner and Xterras I would air down from 38 to 13-18 psi for the same reason.

Shows what I know. Practically nothing! :P:whistle:

Wouldn’t going that low at high speed cause the tires to overheat?

All I know is that was a pretty kewl example of what a four door sedan can do....good going! Wash
