Hi

I am looking to buy the above car and going for a test drive on Saturday, what i want to know what sort of MPG are you actually getting from the Stinger in real life? What do you think of the car so far and is it worth the money which is £39k in UK. Thanks

The first few months it will be terrible... as you will be having way too much fun... then once you settle in mid twenties should be achievable.... obviously traffic, terrain, and driving habits will play heavily into it.

Howdy. On another thread the "break in" period is discussed: first 600 miles you should maintain RPMs between 2K and 4K, not do launch control, and be gentle on the brakes. So, your gas mileage should be above 20 if you are not sitting in stop and go traffic; even higher if you get out on highways and cruise. The worst MPG I've read about on the forum is 14 and the best is in the neighborhood of 30. I average 25 on the freeway during road trips. Around town, not much stop and go traffic (avoid rush hour easily being retired), depending on how much freeway I get to fit in, mileage is between 19 and just under 23.

HaHa, I have had my car for almost a year and i'm still having way to much fun. Obviously your MPG will be highly dependent on how you drive. If you drive conservatively on the highway then you can prob snag around 30mpg. I like to take back roads so my average MPG hover around low to mid 20's which still isn't that bad.

If you are looking for a sleek great looking car but really care about gas mileage, then get the 2.0. It looks the same and you will get the great gas mileage. However, if you want the performance you definitely want the 3.3 or the GTS in your case.
