Kia Signals Limited Entry in North America

The "reporting" on this website seems dubious, referring to their previous articles also. Appears they like click baiting than actually "reporting" things o_O
"Limited" could mean only certain models will be available from launch date?

Yeahhhh why didn't they include any sources??

If KIA insists on limited availability in any way, shape or form, I'm sorry to say that there are at least three other companies whose cars I find appealing and remain distinct possibilities for my next ride. Anytime an automobile manufacturing company can thinks it has the upper hand with the consumer, it usually backfires in their face!

I think it is a genuine supply issue, but I take your point - competition is a good thing for us all.

I just don't see them trying something like that. To coin an outdated phrase, they don't have the street cred to pull it off. It would be a huge mistake.

I've personally work for a Kia dealership and what it means is the availability of trim levels but I could be wrong. For example the all new re-designed 17 Cadenza A couple months back came out and didn't get an SXL trim for a month or 2 after its debute. There were none in the US alone. Hopefully Kia prepares for the demand of this beast

Limited availability translated to "I have to wait a little while to get the trim/options I want" is a bummer but I can live with it.

Limited availability translated to "this is a rare car, so I am going to add $5000 on top of MSRP" they can kiss my a**.
