Curious out there, what loaners did you receive while your car was in for service? I'm currently going on more than a month now in a Ford Fusion, fully equipped, just nothing close to a GT2 Stinger.

Geesh, what's going on that your car has been in that long?

Lower body damage on the engine and they decided to replace it. They are waiting for their best tech to free up to perform the replacement.

Kia Niro hybrid, because i tall and big, at first it was rio or picanto

I got a 2016 Alien Green Soul Base last time I needed a loaner!! That got a couple of chuckles and some ribbing from a co worker I had to pick up at the airport! The loaner/ rental fleet is very weak at the dealer I use. I mentioned in the past that they really should have well optioned current models so people can see and test out all the new tech that Kia has today. No good. Hasn’t happened in the 8 years I’ve owned Kias.

One of the salesmens selling points was if my car ever needed service, I would get a Stinger as a loaner. He even told me he had a friend that needed work done on his Sorento and they gave HIM a stinger for a few weeks. YOU GET A STINGER AND YOU GET A STINGER AND YOU GET A STINGER! This may be true but I HIGHLY doubt it.

Went in for an oil change a few months back and was told it would be a few hours as they had to do the wiring harness recall as well (why they sold me the car in the first place knowing this was a big safety issue is baffling to me). I was talking to the service manager about the delay and he stated he couldn't give me a loaner for the day even if he wanted to. They didn't have any:(
We'll see what happens if I actually need one...not expecting much.

My service dept tries to take care of Stinger owners (their words), so I've had a brand new Cadenza and a loaded Sorento when I had to drop mine off for a few days.

Their sales dept may suck a bag of unmentionables but at least the service dept knows how to treat customers.

The dealer I took mine to used Enterprise rental car and all they had available was a minivan and an F150  I reluctantly took the F150

The dealer I bought mine from gave me a 3 year old Optima that had seen better days. Apparently they were actually selling it on their used lot. I'm telling you right now, if I had driven an Optima before driving my Stinger, I would have passed on Kia.

I bought a new 2017 Optima SXL 2 years ago. It was a pretty solid car IMO

Dealer where i took delivery of stinger closed their kia dealership, so i went to another for wiring harness recall (grommet), brake judder (new front rotors), and I.S.G. (new battery). They are attached to a nissan dealership and a smaller rental car agency. They gave me a nissan sentra, which i drove for 9 days!!! Kia seems so inefficient because everything the dealer does related to warranty or recall has to get approved by corporate or regional mgr. I didn't mind the fuel savings and 300+ miles that didnt go on my stinger, but i was still happy to get it back,

Be happy any loaner is offered.

may $50k Ford Explorer... they send you to the attached enterprise and tell you to piss off if you ask them to cover the cost.

(not for minor stuff. I’m talking injector failure under warranty... no vehicle for days).

There was a couple things wrong with it. A lot of road noise, bad wheel bearing somewhere, needed an alignment. It supposedly had the 1.6 turbo. Talk about no guts. I was surprised that it had a window sticker on it.

The Ceramic Silver just down the highway from us is replaced with a Jerry Seiner Red Optima about half the time lately. I usually see either car two or three times a month (the owner has work hours, I presume, that keep him away a lot), usually on the weekend in the morning. At first, starting c. ten months ago, I was seeing the CS every time. For months now, half the time it's the Red Optima. At least the dealer where we bought our Stingers is giving the guy a loaner that doesn't look too bad. But I was hoping that if I pressure them to loan me a Stinger (should the separation of me from my car ever occur), that they will be agreeable. Hopefully I won't have to find out! :p
