Not being a car guy, I had never heard of it. The concept car's fake, massive rear "vents" are gone. The rear end looks like a Stinger with a bloating problem.

Seems like a good drive but not quite as drop dead gorgeous as the concept.

I think the standard non-GT is the 5 door hatch.

Ya, it's got a big ass GT on the rear....guess they didn't want people to know it's the ProCeed. I just found it funny that they put the GT badge on the grill cause a few people here have done that on their Stingers so it's almost like Kia is paying attention to some of the mods people are doing. Hell, I may have to do that too

The definition of shooting brake seems to vary. I view these as wagons (estates, avants, etc.), which I'm still a big fan of.

There already is the Ceed Sportwagon which has the classic wagon shape.

This is a shooting brake - which these days means a wagon w/ a sloping roofline/greehouse.

Kia is not going as high as Hyundai's N division when it comes to performance.

So while the i30N gets the 2.0T, the Ceed/ProCeed only gets the 1.6T.

GT is basically Kia Europe's moniker for the sport version (basically, their version of the SX trim here).

There's GT variants of the Ceed hatch, along w/ most of the rest of Kia's lineup in Europe, including the Optima GT.

The Ceed hatch and ProCeed will also get a GT-line trim slotting underneath the GT.

Doesn't seem that we're going to get any of these and instead, will be getting the K3 GT hatch as the Forte hatch.

Which is a bummer as much rather get the ProCeed or Ceed hatch.
