Bought my 2019 Kia Stinger GT Limited last week, and like pretty much everyone else found the suspension to be an issue, so I've already placed my order with tdotperformance.ca (great experience).

Called up Kia on Hunt Club to see if they'd like to take a stab at installing the springs and sways, and immediately they launched into the "We have no idea how long it would take to install these aftermarket parts, the sways could require dropping the whole subframe, could take 30 minutes, could take 3 hours, we have no idea, we've never done it before". They seemed didn't seem interested in checking the shop manual, and they implied that I'd need to pay for them to learn how to install a sway bar.

I was pretty clear with them that the sways are installed just like stock sways, there's a wiring harness to disconnect up front and it drops straight down, rear slides in from the side, should be exactly like the shop manual.

Thought it might be nice to engage with the dealership, I would much prefer to have a strong relationship with a full service shop. The buying experience was fine, service was very unsatisfactory.

I'll review again after I've had some scheduled service, which was included in my deal.

Haha you're going to hate me, Kia on huntclub installed my ARK GT-F lowering springs on my stinger, took them about 4 hours to do so they have done it before maybe service guy you were talking to is unaware. Their old service manager (who was great) went over to Hyundai so maybes thats why.

I bet that's it, I was disappointed none the less. Didn't help that I also didn't have a great sales or after sales experience here either so Im probably a little less tolerant.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
What did these guys do that soured your experiences? Like, car wasn't delivered clean? Bad staff?

I had a few issues, partly the dealer, partly Kia Canada:
1) Kia Canada was offering $3000 in factory rebates, sales manager laughed and said "if kia was offering factory rebates, it's probably on one car somewhere in the country, but it doesn't apply to the cars on our lot"
2) Kia Canada was offering 1.99% APR on a Holiday friday (while dealers were closed), first thing on Saturday morning, it was up to 2.99%
3) My car had long paint scratches down the outside of the car, they mostly buffed out, but was still disappointed
4) My car has a big scratch on the interior rear door leather/liner that I couldn't see on original inspection, I emailed the dealership as soon as I got the car home and we went through the "You can't prove that it wasn't scratched after you drove off the lot" (the scratch is in a position where sitting in the driver seat and looking back towards the rear passenger door, it's hidden behind the head rest)
5) The Sales Manager is definitely snarky, I've overheard several discussions between him and other customers during my sales experience, as well as during pickup.
6) I bought the interior and exterior protection plan (and got an equivalent amount of "free" oil changes with it, so why not), but of course I couldn't register online to claim the door scratches and additionally, they'll only cover up to $500 per claim and the door liner was over $1000 with my nappa interior, so f*ck it.

And of course the above, which was just disappointing, but not unexpected.

Just over all frustrating.

Admittedly, I really expected nothing less from buying a Kia. I'm definitely a fan of the car, I'm not a fan of the brand.

I've dealt with a few Kia dealers that were amazing. Try Petawawa Kia down the road. The general manager Greg there is awesome and helped me so much when I was at that dealer.
