Apparently I experienced some issues with my car since owning it?

Welp, Kia is making it right by giving me a $50 Visa card.

They're trying.

Kia bought me a sushi lunch two months ago with my “bump in the road” Visa card.

Yeah I received that yesterday, too. Likely for the hatch rattle recall I brought my Stinger in for.

I received mine about 2 months ago. Agree with StingerGT68, think it was in relation to hatch rattle issue that they resolved.

I will say that the VIP line that they offers does work. I have been experiencing some issues with my 2 local Kia Dealerships. Issues like me trying to order all weather floor mats, splash guards. etc. Calling the parts department is so painful. They flat out tell me that the Stinger is too new, no parts are made for it. They ask me if I am maybe looking for 2017 Stinger parts (what??). I get it, they have many different cars to keep track of, but this is your job! I would go so far as to offer the Kia part number, and then they just get huffy. It has been a pain to deal with because they just charge more for the items anyway. Now I am just ordering everything online and taking care of it myself. Sucks, because I do like supporting local businesses, but they make it hard-particularly for a premium brand. I digress.

At any rate, I called the VIP customer service number just to give me observations on the experiences I was having at my 2 local dealerships. The lady listed, took notes, asked good followup questions, apologized on the behalf of Kia for not offering enough coaching, and told me this kind of feedback was exactly what they were looking for. Within 15 minutes of the call being over, I had a phone call from the parts manager at each location trying to see if there was anything they could do to further help me. At that point, I had already ordered the splash guards online, but I was appreciative of the call back. I asked out of curiosity what they might charge to install them, and they told be around $125. I passed.

The car is awesome, I love it. The dealership experience leaves something to be desired.

I haven't had my car in for warranty work. Actually I haven't even been to a dealership since buying my car.

I did call Kia corporate while doing some research on the car's spark plugs but I never stated I had any problems with my car.

I guess they're throwing money at anyone who opens a new case.

Whatever the case I'm not complaining.

Thanks for the gas money, Kia!

Has anyone received a "JP POWERS" type survey on their new car? I would expect we will based up[on last new car purchases.

I received a survey from a company called Matrix CZ that was Stinger specific via email. It took about 15 minutes, and they gave me a $20 Amazon gift card after I completed. It got caught by my email spam folder, just f.y.i., but it was legit.

I received the same letter and $50 gift card. I too have not had any vehicle issues, but I did "ding" the dealership on the post delivery survey for not introducing us to the service department the night we picked up the car.
We have since received about three phone calls from various personnel at the dealership and the gift card. That's my guess as to why I received the gift card. It was a nice token. Got a full tank of gas with it!

Do you guys know if it is not a scam? I called to set oil change and they told me they were gining a 100 walmart gift card. But they asked a lot of info about my credit card numbrt, address, expiration, etc.

I don't know about your situation but mine was not a scam. But of course this was two years ago when Kia was still enthusiastic about the Stinger. They sent quite a few random gifts to the initial few thousand owners.

From what I've seen over the last few months Kia's relationship with the Stinger isn't where it once was.

I had a problem with my car and it was fixed under warranty. Kia paid a car payment.

I am betting that is 100% a scam or some sort of crazy "get you in the dealership" sales tactic.
