EV6 GT should be getting drift mode. Got a brief clip in there with it going against a Stinger. Seems KIA is putting a lot of work into getting the EV6 GT to be like the Stinger. For now, it seems that will be their next high performance car.

EV6 GT should be getting drift mode
For those who are interested, this is the 35 min. German version. 585 hp for the GT version, available Winter '22 in Germany for about 67000 Euros. The "regular" EV6 will be available September/October this year, starting @ 45000 Euros.

I really like this car ! it could be my wife's next car !!

It should sell well in Europe as they are diving into EVs faster than we are. Plus their EV infrastructure is better. With more places to charge coming, this should make for a good buy for the Koreans. I have been reading about interest for using EVs for taxi cab service in large cities. That industry might start making an impact, with more products coming online.
From the R&D video, I’m interested to see if the GT will end up being a good replacement for the Stinger. It seems that they decided to make it that way from the start. I’m real curious to see the product here.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
a good replacement for the Stinger
It would appear, the Stinger provided the template for the design in many ways. And it came out as a hatchback. The guy in the video complained about the roof not fully transparent towards the back (just like the Stinger) but the hatch needs a place to be mounted on to....

The more of these videos I see, the more I am liking the car, specifically the GT version. I prefer a seat with a good amount of bolstering and the regular seats are typically not that comfortable for me. This new sand color is also a nice look. I remember with Volvo launched the XC90, it did it with a similar color but I don't see may of those on the road today. I did see a Telluride in a color similar to the Ceramic Silver of the Stinger yesterday and it looked really nice on that vehicle. From all the videos I am seeing, it seems this car will probably be in Europe for a year before we get it stateside, of course it should also be available in South Korea as well.

I'm hoping they will have other interior colors than the standard Black, Beige, or Gray. They have been doing well with adding additional interior colors to their new vehicle lineup, it makes sense to also do it for their EVs as well. The other thing I am hoping for is better range. For the daily commute, and some distance trips, the range is fine. However, knowing I can get around 700 miles in my Hybrid, almost 1K if I drive it economically (when I fill that tank all the way to the top), it would be nice to have an EV with @500 miles of range on a full charge. The fast charging helps to get you back on the road faster, so that is a plus but they have to build out that network here in the US to allow for that. I wonder when they will have display vehicles here in the states for us to see. I hope they will showcase something you can get here instead of a Korean or Euro versions with options we wont have.
