All. I am unbelievably frustrated.
I just got my car back on 6/4...it has been in for a warranty repair since 3/25.
Yes. Over two months. And it was a little paint defect on the lip of the hood.
Until they screwed it up. They subcontracted the body work. The body shop couldn't match the paint color (ceramic silver or ghost grey) so my hood was two colors. They chipped the hood vent trying to take it off, orange peel texture, overspray on the fenders, the front bumper, the emblem, everywhere. Then there were scratches, like the wore a tool belt and leaned over the car. Not to mention the compound under the hood. It was a disaster. And that was the first attempt. My car's front end has now been entirely repainted at least 4 times.
I have a case number with Kia, but they refuse to call me. I call and leave messages on Melissa with Escalations voice mail times a day.
I was so pissed last night I posted on their Facebook page.
But still no call.
Any one have an issue with Kia like this???

Good luck with getting a response. Sorry to hear about your dramas, did they give you a Stinger loan car?

I would start bugging the crap out of the senior executives at corporate HQ. File a complaint under your state's Lemon Laws. Ask for a replacement car as a quick settlement. This is not a typical problem. And never, ever, return to that shop for body work.

Sorry to hear what you going through I have zero chips on my paint ceramic grey ghost grey paint is flawless. Maybe should have kept the chip. Hopefully u can get it fixed.

A good body shop can dial in the proper paint match in a heartbeat , hell I have a spray can I bought from Automotivetouch up that is spot on ..................so rest assured they can get you back to OEM ..............you may have gone overboard with the FB posting though. You need to be very firm but very professional in dealing with them . I had a 6 month "conversation" between my dealer and Kia Canada that eventually lead to a $7000 sunroof frame replacement to eliminate creaking and ticking noises . Writing Kia Corp will get more attention than phone calls , Research who the senior dealer relations person is and get their email and write them and explain your situation in a non theatening manner .......................good luck they can get you fixed 100%

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
