Anyone with an approaching lease-end date getting calls from the dealership about purchasing their cars over the market price? I have gotten 2 calls this week about "selling" my car to "help" them out (with inventory I guess) and they will overpay if I bring it in this weekend (although the guy extended to Monday when I said I could not do so this weekend). Thoughts? What would you do?

Do the math. What's your buyout and what is the black book for the car (or go on carmax/vroom/etc and get quotes)?

If you like the car, keep it. Highly unlikely you'll be able to replace it for anything close to reasonable. Right now many/most are buying out their leases.

Yeah, the market value is at least $15k above my buyout/residual price. And you're right, I do enjoy the car and it would be hard to find something else that will not be overpriced. Was just wondering if others were getting these calls as well.

It's not just on leases. I was getting emails from my dealer on a weekly basis telling me they want to buy my 2018 until just the last week or so. (I told them up front to not call.)

Not this year. That's because I told them as the end of my lease was getting close (a year ago) that I had owned the car outright since three months into the lease. And the guy said, "I'll update our records to show that." And other than an occasional email offer I haven't heard back from them since. :)
