Key fob storage and car theft

I purchased a faraday pouch on Amazon, I place my key fobs in them when at home. Prevents the signal from being hijacked by range extenders that bad guys use to take or break in to your vehicles.

Thank you- terrible! How far will the car drive without a fob? Until it's turned off?

Yes, car will run until turned off. Not sure if the Idle Stop/Go would accomplish same; that would be the only time I would like the feature.

It won't cut off, it's a safety issue - can't have the car stopping on a highway because the key is no longer detected..
