K&N typhoon missing part. Help.

Spent the better half of the afternoon with a friend changing out the spark plugs and taking out the oem intakes. Went to start putting in the k&n cold air intakes. And the filter adapter is not in the box. Part number 073252. I cant seem to find that exact part on sale anywhere. Does anyone know a sub part I can buy?

Yes, both of the air filter gaskets or adapaters or whatever its called is missing. I don't know if I can come to the meet on saturday. I really really don't want to put all the stock parts back on so its just sitting there now.

Brand new. Bought it from the k8 stinger store. We just discovered this problem about an hour ago. I'll give them a call in the morning. But I am leaving town saturday night. So I am trying to do what I can to find a part that fits asap.

Just call them. When i installed the plastic valve it broke 3 times and they covered it under warranty. So im sure they will simply send u a new one

This is going to sound dumb but have you unwrapped all of the packing paper that was in the box. I vaguely remember thinking I was missing a part until I did a second pass of the box and found it wrapped up in the paper.

Even if the car isn’t done you should still come to the meet to hang out.

They have great customer service. They sent me two right side panel filters last year and to correct their mistake they overnighted the correct filter after I complained.

yeah you definitely need that part, mine came with the adapter already attached to the heat shield, but I bought mine used.

Make sure you use the correct part number, the one you provided is for the heat shield. The adapter number is 21569.

Try to get them to 2 day ship, once you get that part it shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes - hour to get it all in.

Yes. We both spent a lot of time retracing our steps. Triple checking all packaging, looking around on the driveway. No luck. I was hoping we just somehow overlooked it last night.

I called K&N pretty much as soon as customer service opened. The lady on the phone was literally yawning as I was explaining my situation. But she did manage to get an order to expedite the parts to me. Hopefully that means overnight.

It seems like such a universal part. I dont understand how 0 auto parts store have this in stock. It's all special order for a $5 part.

I called them a 2nd time to make sure it was for 2 of them. And good thing I did. They were about to send me the wrong parts. Your right, I was reading the wrong part number. Lpl
