I want to black the car out and will start by having the tailpipes painted black and the chrome in the front blacked out. My biggest question though is about rims. Am I able to square the car with 20" wheels, or does it need to be 19" in the front and 20" in the back?

The car I tried purchasing was a 19 with 285's in the back and I really liked that look. Just looking for recommendations on rim choices and what works well with the car. Don't plan on lowering it, but want to reduce the gap between the fender and tire, as long as there is no rubbing. Thank you!!

Well, to reduce the gap without lowering, it's not the wheels but the tires that need to be taller. Shouldn't be ahuge difference but that's going to reduce acceleration.

This will increase rolling diameter, and that will in-turn have an impact on the accuracy of the speedo (it may actually make it more accurate, as in general, it will read faster than you're actually going now).

Howdy, Ben. The manual cautions against using wheels/tires different from OE; because the resulting change in outside diameter can cause malfunctions. I don't want to discover what kind of malfunctions. If you're within 1" of the OE outside diameter the consensus is you're OK. In order to fill the gap in a non lowered wheel well with a 20" wheel you'd have to change the diameter more than 1" for sure, if you are actually going to see a visible difference.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
