Just bought a 22 Stinger!

On those days, as much as I like my cars, I'd much rather be rolling on two wheels. That's my ultimate fun. :)

Ahh... The one that got away. Back in '19 almost bought a '15 k1600gt w/~4K miles. It was a steal at $15K otd. Had to back out of the deal for personal reasons.

Yep, the higher end BMW motorcycles' resale value drop thru the floor as soon as the warranty expires. Most of these are bought new by older riders that can afford $35k+ bikes and prefer to let the dealer do the wrenching. $1200 oil changes are not unheard of. This kinda feeds on itself, to where these folks would trade in as soon as warranty expires. They are deathly afraid if oil changes are $1200, out of warranty repairs would be astronomical. So they figure it's better to take a big hit and get on another new BMW.

So far, for me, the K1600GT has been no less reliable than any other bikes I've owned. Oil filter cost the same as any other bike too. That turbine smooth inline6 is one of the best big sport touring engines I've had, and I've had them all, I4, V4, V-twin, I3.
