Probably the last mod I'll be doing. I still need to hook up the solenoid ,electric switch and vacuum tubing to the actuators. So here is a few videos before and after. Enjoy.

and a few pix as well.

For the record the evc solenoid hose hooks up under the air filter......nowhere near the yt video for the hyundai is. the hose hooks to the engine side of the set up Not the turbo side.

All the electrics and vacuum hoses connected, outside of a pesky kink in the vacuum feed . we are 100 %. Now the only thing or hiccup to this system are the actuators (they open the exhaust using the vacuum from the engine ) They tend to shit the bed occasionally....to forego replacing any ailments to said actuators, I'm religiously spraying the moving part(s) with w-d 4o........fingers crossed.

Any update on this? Been looking at Jun Bl for my GT, but don't want to have that hassle of spraying WD-40 for the amount I'm paying. Would you have gone with the other brands EVC instead?

I had them open this morning on my way to work, lol. Still working flawlessly,
It is what it is, there is a racing version where there is no bi -valve.......I would go that route,if I had the 3.3.My other options are unbolt the diaphragm and the bi valve should stay open or bypass the vacuum switch with a continuous hose from the motor to the valve(s)Spraying wd 40 is my idea. To prolong the life of the actuators.....even thou I have a spare set, thanks again @TStaino .

No I got a deal on this particular system I wasn't shopping for a system at all.......kinda just came to me.......maybe angels are stinger fans??

running the vacuum directly to the actuators, basically omitting the on/off switch and opening the bi-valves at start up.....see how long it lasts.

Jun BL has since switched to Electronic controlled Actuators. The Vacuum control hoses running to the engine compartment are a thing of the past. New models run into the trunk and hard wire to the battery. MUCH easier to install and less issues with actuator failure.

It really didn't take long for me to rig the actuators wide open and sh!t can the vacuum set up....so I run it open all the time.
