July KIA Incentives

I haven't it posted on here, sorry if I missed it, but what are the KIA incentives on the Stinger for this month?

I believe lease rebates for various models still range from. 6800 for gt2 awd, 6200 gt2 rwd run until 7/9, mf and residuals are the same as last month, 0.00224 and 53%.

These are numbers I had for my GT2 RWD, 53% residual the MSRP of 50,100 is around 26k.

Sorry yes 10k miles 36 months

26,000 divided by 50,100 is more like 52% witch sounds like a 12k mile lease.

Current June - July price sheet say through July 6th. Thus, Friday "should" be the new monthly pricing sheet for rebates and the lease programs.

Word is they extended it till July 9th. I guess to extend the 4th of July "weekend". One of the dealers i've been working with was hammering me about coming in as soon as possible because the rebates are going to be terrible after July 9th. They also said the 2019's won't be showing up until January/Feb of next year. Guess we will see!

I don't know what the mean by "Show Up".. but 2019 Stinger models have started production since last month (JUNE).

I ordered a 2019 Stinger.. mine is now on the vessel, expecting it to arrive 2nd August.

By "show up" I mean are physically on the dealer lots here in the U.S. I've been to 6 dealers in my area (DC/MD/VA) and they all say that they are not sure when the 2019's are going to arrive. So either they are all lying (possibly to get me to buy one on their lots now) or they genuinely don't know. From what I understand, here in the US, you cannot order a stinger. You tell the dealer what you want and they source that configuration from what's available in state or in some cases, out of state. Certainly odd compared to other brands I've purchased in the past but that's how KIA is doing it for right now.

Even here in Saudi, Dealers won't tell you when the next model year is expected to come.. to push you towards the current year model.

On that note, I went with yesterday with a friend of mine to a Kia dealer to show him the Stinger. And we asked the dealer there when is the 2019 model expected to show up (like I
We don't know that I ordered one).. and the answer from him was priceless.. he told us that it was not gonna come any time soon.. they will probably come arround December (end of the year).

Either the dealer was lying to us, or he doesn't have any knowledge.

@KiaofMuncie , would you happen to know anything about this? While possible, it sure sounds like old school "sales" tactics 101...

The 9th is correct however nobody knows what future incentives will be. Could get better or worse. We have not been told when 19s will hit.

This is all quite typical and interesting at the same time:

A. All Too Typical: A dealer wants to sell cars – period. So whatever it takes to get you to come in and set the hook to sell a car. "Horrible rates coming! New Tariffs!" Whatever... Now, to be fair, many dealers are very good and are not sending you mis-information to sell a car. So it's not all of them, and many are suspect at best, are starting to clean up their acts. Competition and knowledge is just too great now-a-days to play games.

B. No New Stingers Until January? That founds fishy, very fishy. MurlantorR might be able to set the record straight here, but word is Kia changes every model year in October - like clockwork. Everything shifts at the end of September into October with the brand new model years - period. For Kia to suddenly change up with the Stinger, makes very little sense. I would "suggest" this is a hook to make you suspect, "meh, might as well go in now to purchase instead of wait..." only to see the 2019's rolling into dealers in October...

Personally, I'm looking forward to see the new incentives after the G70 launches and there's some competition.
