I've got a bit of a problem here. We can't get the strut braces to fit back on, they don't clear the JT intake covers. I've seen other installations where they do, so obviously something isn't right. Yeah I know the plastic radiator cover is back on, I had to go home so we buttoned it back up. It didn't fit before that either. Any thoughts?

Other than that I'm really satisfied, throttle response is improved and the turbo whoosh is pretty loud! My only worry is driving significant miles without these braces on there. I'm assuming they aren't just for show.

This is the first time I’ve heard this. Lots of JT users here help should be on the way. And ya the braces are there for a reason.

Went back out this morning to see what I could do, this is where it's at right now.

It was tight with the BMS one. I forced it down. Probably scratching the cover a bit. But who cares, no one will see it.

And I dare you to try to contact them about it. Lol.

it took 3/4 a year if not longer to get them.
I’m sure they’ll be more responsive on a fitment issue!!!

Tash wrote back right away but I've been waiting for a solution.

Even forcing the boxes down they didn't want to budge far enough and I got worried about breaking something. I ended up taking off the top covers which gave me juuuust enough clearance to put the braces back on. I'll try this again over the weekend but I need the car ready to go to work this morning and didn't feel comfortable driving without them. They're rubbing on the tops of the side covers, so I put some teflon tape on there to try and keep scratches from occuring. Yeah I know no one will see it, but I'll know it's there

Hopefully I'll get it solved this weekend. Got the Velossa scoops in too and they look rad!

Interesting. Maybe I can just slide the lids in under the braces and make it all fit without scratching the sh*t out of everything. I've gotten it this close.

Oh I wouldn’t slide the cover under the installed brace.

I’d instead just shove the brace down after the cover is installed.

You're probably right. I'll try that tomorrow morning and we'll see what happens.

His quality has massive gone downhill, most people getting theirs nowadays have issues (if people are even getting them).

The quality of the parts, as far as the construction, the welds, the paint, geometry of the metal piping, that stuff all looks top notch. It was also packaged really well and included everything I needed. The fit could use some work, apparently.

Got them in, it wasn't even particularly difficult. Not sure what changed since last time, haha.

I find the installation difficulty is proportional to alcohol consumption.
Yes! But the subject will benefit from a decrease in any frustration level which, however odd, proportionally corresponds to the level of alcohol consumed.:geek:

I'm having some issues getting the pipe aligned correctly so that the filter stays on. The pipe wants to push the filter too far towards the outside of the vehicle. Can't get it on square enough for the clamp to stay on. Anyone have any advice based on their install?

I ran out of time to finish. When I go back I will have to find a way to loosen the clamp at the end of the pipe near the turbo to get a better angle for the pipe.
