Ugh, just as my Injen intake was delivered this group buy is started. :(

My K&N was delivered yesterday. Don’t open the box and resell it. That’s what I’ll do.

Hey dude! Super interested. My dang account is too new to initiate PMs though. Could you drop me a line with whatever info I need to make this happen? Also, fun fact. I live in SoCal, so we might not even need to mess with shipping once you receive the crate from down under. Could probably just drive over and pick it up if you're comfortable with that. Let me know!

Injen vs this vs stillin?
I am the perfect person to ask as I have run
Injen
Bms
Agency Power
Before JT (I’m a bit crazy:)
First all the above do great and add responsiveness over stock!

Agency power, AEM, any all plastic has less heat soak and are my favorite in that respect
BMS looks cleaner, has partial heat shield and is hands down one of the best for affordability
Injen is great, one of best looking for mass produced intake but pricey

all above had no noticeable difference in performance, testing temperatures the all plastic did best
BMS better than Injen
For the price Injen should have a heat shield.

I installed the JT with assumption it would perform same, I was shocked the first morning and immediately pulled a couple runs as I thought I felt more tq.
using odbii reader with gages I posted 16 more lbs of tq than I did with any of the ones above. I spoke with two owners that just got their JT in, both replacing an Injen and a agency power, both said they felt more power. We all also added the merge pipe which is larger as well.
ID on JT intake is 1/2 inch wider, the filters are much bigger, and the closed box design really gets air moving around for those filters.
I paid full price for my JT, I did not get a discount to push them! I get a small handling fee for taking the group order and reshooting to save everyone money.

Any intake is loads better than the stock, these are just on a level all their own!

I do agree that any intake is better than stock. Whoever made that intake was an absolute hater of performance and sound. Anyways I am a big fan of injen and what the short ram intake did to my Honda Wagon. Day and night difference. The sound alone was well worth the $200 dollars. There was a bump in power and response as well but the sound of that vtec was ricer bliss. I have no idea why the stock had a massive silencer. Anyways that my injen view, I also have the stillin Long Horn intakes for the g37x. Those are real cold air intakes, go right behind the front grill. Made good power too. Get real dirty but whatever, I can always clean em. My stinger came with KN intakes but they don't really look like the best performers. Also one was smashed so need new intakes anyways. And SSR or whatever don't make the real CAI anymore. If the JT are as good as you claim then I might be interested.

These come with cold air ducts to replace the stock snorkel ducts. Injen are great, they all are. I ran the Injen for 7 months. But the additional amount of air this can push and design makes this the Mac daddy!

This was an offer I couldn’t refuse. It is also my first performance mod, but I never believed I could get it this cheap all the way from AUS. Looking forward to getting it.

You will love it. Mine went in this past Saturday and maybe I am nuts but I am sure I can feel a difference over the K&Ns I previously had.

You do it yourself, Luminary? Chris71 swears any idiot can do it, so I’m going to try not to prove him wrong, lol. Where did you get those hose for your catch cans?

Are they any quieter than the K&Ns since they’re fully sealed?

I would have to say yes, I have only been driving on them for 2 days of commutes now and they defiantly seem a bit quieter. We have been in the 70's these past two days and I swear the car just loves this weather and wants to take off even more then before. It is freaking awesome, I really have to hold back even more now on my back country roads before I get in trouble. :)

You do it yourself, Luminary?

Me, well no though I did my best to help. @BertBert2019GT and my husband did the majority of the work. I think the hardest part was getting the silicone reducers on the intake pipes.

Edit: Oh the hoses just have braided sleeves on them I bought from amazon. Really dresses the engine bay up.
