Jb4 wont connect

I've recently gotten an jb4 and it won't connect at all. It confirms everything and verifies everything but at the last part of connecting it doesnt. I went to start my car and it idled like shit and showed low oil pressure, I was told i need to update the firmware to fix that problem with the car but i cant even connect. suggestions?

Are you sure you installed it correctly? I was unable to connect when I installed the JB4 and it did not affect how the engine ran. Did you buy used?

yea it was used

I would first ensure installation is correct. Then I would email BMS support. They had to help me get connected.

they had gave me a option to send the board out to get reflashed or buy a replacement one
