2019 g70 with secondary down pipes, intakes and spark plugs and full 3in straight pipe. Been running e30 on map 3 for bout 8000-9000 miles with ZERO problems. Car sat for about a month n a half and when I got it back I opened it up and it was perfect until about third gear around 5900-6300rpm it’ll start popping and banging and when I hit about 110+ it gets really bad and the Car Started misfiring sounding like Anti-lag then throw it self in limp mode and back down to map 0. I’m getting a p0049 code now and don’t know what to do. I take the code off and do a couple pull on map0 and everything runs perfectly fine. Any suggestions?

Do you have the EWG/wastegate connectors? Those let the JB4 control the actuators, and I believe will help prevent overboost.

No I don’t believe so. I bought the 450 kit and if it didn’t come in there then no

By itself the JB4 kit doesn't typically require them, but once you start opening up the downstream with downpipes / no cats, the factory wastegate settings may not be sufficient. I believe the EWG wires are <$100 so probably worth a try.

Will try that. Thank you for the help . I’ll come back with an update. I believe that’s the problem because it’s fine on map0 but starts tripping on other maps.

I think its to much boost at that rpm. I have tried around 300 maps and can see that fuelpressure and capacites isnt enought over like 5900 rpm. The thing is to run Map 6 and lower boost by 2-3 psi at 6000 rpm and up, also at 5500 try to lower by 1-2 psi. Post a log and we see.

Also will car be slower if you test by a Dragy with more than 18 psi boost, no need for that at all, also it cant handle a lot of from standing still so to have a fast car is to go slowly by with adding boost under 3500 rpm, lile 1-3 psi, full like 4 psi at 4-5500 rpm then substract as shifts also go faster as tourque needs to go down before it will shift.

Also our cars is slower if you shift over 6000 so get a TCU tune that in "Sport" shifts at max 5900 rpm and also have a lot more shiftpressure. SXTH can do that, I run now after several tests a stage 3 that runs like normal in every modes except Sport where it shifts earlier and harder (= faster shifts).

Step 1 is usually a log.

As Terry said, step1 is always posting a log. Also if you don't have habbit to auto-log WOT pulls regularly as a habbit, you can't tell if "zero problem" is true. It's function offered by JB4 for a reason. Most ignition or boost related problem are showing on the log for like forever before it become an actural failure.
