Did your power surge issue get solved? My stinger as well is surging power I think. Shift up a gear higher for example and floor it and it feels like the power cuts in and out for a short while and some smoke shoots out the back as well.

I did the update to the jb4 and the problem did not completely go away but it did help. I am not experiencing what I think your saying tho. At wide open throttle my car felt great at was at about half throttle around 3.5krpm where is surged.
