Hey guys, I have called a few tuner shops that all say they would stay away from the JB4 due to too many issues. However, on youtube etc the reviewers usually say that it does ok. What has been your experiences with the JB4 (if installed of course)?

Not sure why they would say that. I've never had issues with the JB4 on my car. It a alternate solution that keeps you from having to hack into the ECU. It's possible they want to sell you a custom tune for more money.

I have tried a few and always end back with JB4, now running E30 with usual bolt ons. No issue at all and love tha easy to use app/gauges

Hello,
Brand new to this forum, not sure if this is the right section, just installed my JB4, updated the firmware, but the tunner keeps disconnecting after a couple seconds, sometimes it takes a few minutes. My phone is brand new so I don't think its the bluetooth, My Stinger OBDII Port is kinda loose, not sure if thats normal or not.

Sometimes you have issues with the JB4 like you stated and you have to check both Bluetooth connections and or turn off the app and restart it a few times.

I’ve had my own issues with getting the ign 2-6 right but that could’ve been a me problem. I’ve tuned two SRT-8’s and a Taurus SHO and the JB4 is honestly pretty good for the money in my 15 years of tuning. The customer service is really pretty decent even if the answers aren’t in depth because of the sheer volume of emails terry gets, he still responds very very quickly.

4.5/5 stars for me for the JB4. I’m running map 3 as a daily and can roast the rear tires when I switch from 4 to 2WD.
